If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with an item you have purchased online, you can return it to us, under the following conditions;

1. The piece/s have not been worn and are in their original condition.
2. The piece/s are returned with their original packaging.
3. They are returned within 14 days of receipt.

All return shipping is at your expense. Original postage costs are not refundable, unless the items as been damaged in transit. We recommend you use a secure, trackable service. We do not take responsibility for any jewellery that is lost, stolen or damaged in transit to us.

We will refund the original purchase price onto the original payment method used at time of purchase.

New Moon is happy to exchange any items purchased as long as

1. You have a valid proof of purchase
2. The item/s have not been worn and are in their original condition.
3. The item/s are returned with their original packaging.
4. They are returned within 14 days of receipt.

Any exchanges outside of these conditions are strictly at the manager's discretion. 

In the event that you can't find a suitable exchange a credit note will be issued to the value of the item.

Depending on the nature of the damage we can fix the item. Please bring the item to the shop for assessment. We have a comprehensive repairs service.

We offer a repairs service for items purchased from us and elsewhere. The charges are modest. Please bring the item/s to the shop for assessment. Repairs usually take about 2 to 3 working days.

Yes, we sell gift certificates for any amount. They are valid indefinitely as long as you don't lose the certificate.

Please keep your jewellery away from products like perfume and hairsprays as they can damage gemstones and tarnish silver. We recommend that you do not wear jewellery in the shower or bath. Water can damage certain gemstones.

All sterling silver will tarnish over time, in particular if it is not worn on a regular basis. The tarnish can be easily removed with a silver cloth. 

To clean gemstones and items that are worn frequently soak the item in a cup of warm, soapy water for a few hours and then gently clean with a toothbrush. Rinse off in warm water and your jewellery will sparkle like new!
